Financial planning hasn't kept up. Most platforms still run on a batch-load cycle designed in the 1980s: extract data, load it overnight, plan against numbers that are already stale. Planning teams deserve to see current data for their business and act on it - not work from last month's export. We started Nordite to break that cycle.

Our Story
Nordite was founded with a simple observation: the gap between how businesses operate and how they plan was growing wider every year. Real-time data was everywhere - in CRMs, ERPs, payment systems, market feeds - but planning tools still relied on static exports and manual refreshes.
We set out to build a planning engine from scratch - not on top of a spreadsheet, not as an extension to an existing tool - but as a purpose-built system designed for the speed and connectivity that modern finance teams need.
The result is a fundamentally different data architecture from anything else on the market. It was designed from the ground up for the access patterns that financial planning demands, rather than layering planning logic on top of general-purpose databases or block-based OLAP engines. That architecture means unlimited dimensions, unlimited cells, and instant scenario branching - without the design trade-offs that constrain every other planning engine.
On top of that foundation, the platform processes calculations in real time, connects to hundreds of data sources natively, and puts AI to work on the tedious parts of model building - so your team can focus on the decisions that matter.
Nordite at a Glance
Founder
Nordite was founded by a technology executive with 20+ years of experience building and scaling enterprise SaaS platforms across global markets. His career spans cloud infrastructure, security, and AI/ML, with deep hands-on expertise in architecting high-performance systems from the ground up.
He was a core member of the founding platform team at Anaplan, working across the UK and Singapore to build the multi-tenant in-memory planning engine from its earliest days. He went on to run the platform for three years, gaining deep operational insight into formula engine development, JVM optimisation, IAM integration, and the challenges of scaling through rapid global growth. That experience gave him first-hand knowledge of both the strengths and limitations of existing financial planning technology.
His earlier career at Thomson Reuters involved building high-performance data stores, columnar databases, and triple stores for large-scale scientific data platforms. He designed and built NLP/ML pipelines that digitised hundreds of thousands of pages to create some of the world's largest biological reference databases. That work gave him deep expertise in sparse storage, indexing strategies, and query engine design that directly informs Nordite's architecture. He went on to lead engineering teams and build high-performance systems for a global telecommunications group, before founding Nordite.
CISSP certified with a consistent focus on security-first architecture, his technical depth spans enterprise software, data platforms, and modern product engineering, combined with extensive experience in cloud-native architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Nordite is the product of that background: a planning engine with a fundamentally different data architecture, built from first principles by someone who has seen the problem from the inside. The same deep expertise behind high-performance data stores and columnar databases now powers a planning engine that holds unlimited dimensions with unlimited cells - delivering the performance, connectivity, and security that enterprise finance teams actually need.
